Highlights included:
Old Guy: I'm sweating like a hooker in church.
Main Character Guy: You brought a hooker to church?
Old Guy: yeah?
My qualm with that exchange, besides the fact that it was so terribly out of context when it was said was, at NO POINT did the old guy imply he had brought a hooker to church. It's like Main Character Guy just strung a bunch of words together and threw a sentence at him.
It pretty much got worse from there, till I just gave up and turned it off. They are like family guy jokes, except there is no visual cue at least to make it funny. Just random ass words thrown together. There were some arguably funny lines dropped here and there, which made me laugh, hard.
The voice acting is pretty bad though. And most of the characters are walking cliches. You can literally know their whole life story by just observing their mannerisms in the first 5 minutes.
Not a bad game. It was actually pretty well done, in my opinion, but not really something to phone home about.
Personally I thought that Uncharted 2 was a incredible game, I would give it a 9 easily. Yeah it uses alot of things from Tomb Raider (but what game doesn't steal ideas from eachother?), but how else are you supposed to make a engaging Action/Adventure game? Sure you could do it Zelda style....but well lets just say that Zelda is the only game that can pull off its type of Action/Adventure style. Basically Uncharted is Tomb Raider perfected, and since Edios can't make a decent Tomb Raider game these days....

i was keeping a close eye on uncharted 2, but the game does nothing for me. i'll rent at best because i never finished the first. the gow series doesn't interest me at all. i like fps's and what i really want to play is kz2 and mag. i think in about 2 weeks i'll pick up a ps3, although im not sure if i should get a phat or a slim?
KZ2 is a incredible shooter, if you are at all a fan of FPS games then you will enjoy KZ2, especially the mp. MAG is awesome as well, 256-player battles FTW!! MGS4 was a great game....it was nice to see how things ended, but since I beat it I haven't really wanted to go back and play it....I might go back and play it once they enable it with Trophies. If you liked Uncharted I can guarantee that you will enjoy Uncharted 2. I have a Phat PS3, but the slim is just fine from what I have read and seen. If your gonna get one now, just go ahead and get the slim, the phat shows fingerprints and scrapes really bad.

I would get the slim if your gonna consider getting one. KZ2 is a awesome game, so I can agree with you on that. MGS4 was a great game. If your like most 306/PS3 owners you will be getting FFXIII on PS3 vs the 360 version (that's what I'm doing). White Knight Chronicles would be nice if it would ever make its way to the US....they already announced White Knight Chronicles 2 for Japan next year...so wtf? lol

Well 3.00 has bricked a few consoles, but it didn't happen to me or any of my friends..so I wouldn't worry about it. 3.01 is needed if you want to play Uncharted 1 without performance issues. SOCOM was a bad game when it was released, but now I think that the community has grown and the online has gotten alot better since launch, but now with MAG on the way I don't see a point to go back and visit it. You don't have to dl Home is you don't want to...

I think you would like KZ2, Uncharted 1 and 2, of course gow, folklore, maybe lbp, MAG, Valkyria Chronicles, Infamous, maybe socom, maybe warhawk, WKC (if it ever makes it to the US), MGS4, Resistance 1 and 2, and possibly but I wouldn't bet the farm: Ratchet and Clank (I enjoy them, plus they look like I'm playing a Pixar movie....so its very pretty). The PS3 has many exclusives that are worth looking into if you get the gist of my post lol.
