Ya I know you can do Social games on Halo 3 with a silver membership but playing Gears online for free is cool.

Halo has always let you bring in guests.

Really? I didn't know that. I got a friend who didn't renew his Gold. I'll have to see if we can still play.

Ya I went on Halo when I didn't have gold and it let me go to the Matchmaking lobby so I chose Social Slayer and it let me play.
