Music you absolutely hate...

Alright now I despise country music. I can't stand it. I never listen to it. But Garth Brooks has a couple of decent songs. So what music do you hate but still give one artist respect?

i hate rap. i give tupac respect though, good lyrics.

I hate the current state of rap where skill is substituted by a vocoder. The only artist I still listen to even though he uses a vocoder is Kanye.

and Flewid of course 2Pac's lyrics are good he was rapping back when hiphop was still good.

I absolutely hate rap...I can't stand being in a room/car with rap playing. That's why I take my Zune everywhere with me. Thank God for noise canceling headphones.

I loathe/despise/hate country music, almost all of it. Outside of maybe Toby Keith (and not even ALL of his, only some of his work) I think id cut my ears off having to listen to that kind of music.

I like SOME rap (its more so humorous and entertaining, vice legit music) and listen to mainly various types of rock, altrnative, and some metal.

I absolutely LOATHE/HATE Rap music....and to be honest, i cant understand what theyre saying half the damn time haha

I'm with King on hating Country.

Rap went from being the sound of the streets to main stream self promotion ads. It's really quite sad.

Most of the time it's not a vocoder...its Autotune. Autotune is a software program that was originally used for pitch correction in vocals. So they can basically make them selves sound like what ever they want.

You will mainly hear vocoders in Electronica and Pop music like Owl City and Family Force 5, not rap artists. But Electronica and Pop artist will use Autotune as well.

I don't listen to rap at all, but I have heard T-Pain do what ever he does in the Lonely Island song "I'm on a Boat." T-Pain is using autotune to make his voice sound that way. I think its pathetic that he relies on it to make him sound good. He doesn't even use the technology in a creative way.
