I think there will only be room for 7 people so it's a first come, first serve kinda thing. I'll start a party and the 1st seven people who get in get to watch the movie. If you're interested RSVP in this thread. But again it's general admission seating...

Like I said in our convo, I think thats an awesome idea. If the community likes this (staff renting/getting movies for all to enjoy) we might be able to go permanent.

I'd love to watch it with you but atm I can't because my Xbox fan has failed on me.

I thought that you had to own the movies as well to play them in a party....kinda like the netflix streaming. Everyone for that had to be a Netflix subscriber.

Cockblockers!! Microsoft doesn't think it possible that in the real world, people invite friends over to their house to watch a movie together, by their blatant choice in making it that everyone has to own the god damn movie. That really defeats the purpose of it, I think.

I'll just stick to going over to my friend's house with the blu-ray player/console and the bad ass television, thank you very much. =]

Hope they consider changing the policy one day. It's got a lot of potential to be a great aspect of having a Live subscription, because they already charge way too damn much for it, to be honest.

That's just the thing though....they won't change the policy because let's face it people they didn't get so rich by just giving things away for free.

Couldnt we do this via netflix, since all u need is the subcription to netflix/gold membership?

Sure we could use Netflix but their selection isn't as great. I'll browse through later and see what's good. Maybe I'll do it another time.

how many people have a netflix subscription though? to me it isn't worth it as the streaming movies option ruins the movie for me

I love the streaming movies option/.....what i cant stand is the fact that Netflix has a crap choice of movies that can be streamed.....

I'm too poor for ANY kind of monthly subscription fees. If I was to take one on, it would probably be gamefly before Netflix.
