So who picked up AoT TFD?

I almost have enough played to do a confident review and despite a few issues its going to be an overall positive one.

I'm avoiding this game for a while, at least until a few issues are patched. I played the demo and my jaw literally hit the floor with how awful the character movements were and how bad the hit accuracy was. It just seemed very clunky to me and it was a pain in the ass to play. I kept saying to myself, wtf i hit that guy! or wtf, where did that invisible wall come from?!

i dont think ill be getting this game...i never played the first, so yea...i might consider renting it, if i hear enough good things. but not a buy for me. might try the demo tho, idk

I still need to pick up the first game still. A friend of mine borrowed it a few years ago and I played through the story through co-op with him. Was a freaking blast but I've just been too busy with other games to even bother picking it up for myself....someday though.

Well, don't wait too long to at least rent it. I don't know how it is now, but the first time around, the servers emptied out really quick. I was playing the co-op story with a friend for a few days at the time, and by the time we got that all finished up and went to play some multiplayer together, the servers were a ghost town.

A lot of people were turned off by the 1st one, I guess. I actually loved it though, so I guess the jankyness of player movement just bother people on different levels. I didn't like it either, but it didn't completely ruin the experience for me.

Probably why GoW2 never bothered me either. That game.. hahah. It's just like Mad Hatter said. Especially online. The game is all lagged and glitched most of the time, but I loves it.

@flewid - what demo did you play? I had no issues with targeting, and movement is solid (although a bit shy of gears 2 quality) maybe ur just a tps noob ;p

@mudkip - Shame on you. AoT > Other games

@flowless - yea, the first ones mp was deserted, mainly due to so much lag it was inconceiveable. Plus the 2 man teams werent that popular, it was wingman more or less.

Did EA actually put money up for some nice servers this time around? I actually want to pick this game up, but I fear I wont have anyone to play with by the time I get it. Only reason I enjoyed the first one so much was because I ran through all of it with a friend, and most of my friends ditched their xboxes for PS3s now.

I will next week.

I got it but bearly played it. I really wanna run through it in co-op. Hint hint King!!

It's nothing personal! I see an opening and I take it.

I bought it, and have it installed on the hard drive, but have been too deep into Darksiders. Gonna need a co op partner though.

My friend bought it so I went to his house and we played it all day. It was kick ass!!
