PreOrder Pickups At Gamestop

I preOrdered MW2 online for In-Store Pickup (it's two blocks walking distance from my house) and I was wondering how preOrder pick ups work. Is it First-Come-First-Serve, or do they order enough copies plus a few extra to meet quota on launch day meaning I don't have to wait outside the store early in the morning?

If I go in the afternoon and they are out of copies and I have a preOrder at the location, am I pretty much screwed and have to wait until they get more shipments?

I'm only asking since MW2 is a high demand game and would like to know what to expect and whether I should go an hour or two early before store opening.

If you preorder it then it was ordered and will be in stock behind counter even if they sell out of them in store, because you already preordered so when they made there order it was included in that order, make sense?

The only way you don't get your pre-order is if they don't get there delivery or you don't pick up your preorder within 2 days, then your money goes to store credit. Make sure you have your online receipt to avoid confusion.

I have always received the game but the pre-order bonuses are limited they usually run out of t-shirts.

whenever our local gamestop has extra preorder stuff, they usually give it to us lol

I have never had a problem with Pre-Ordering from GameStop.

They will get enough preorder copies so if you preorder you are guaranteed your copy when you go to pick it up. even if one copy is left they save it for you instead of a walk in customer.
